DIY Coconut Oil Sugar Scrub

Happy Tuesday Peeps! I hope you all are having a wonderful start to your week and hopefully by now your children are adjusting to the time change. I wish I had known {prior to having children} to enjoy that extra hour of sleep! I had no idea how much it effects the little ones sleep patterns!

With the time change comes colder weather. Which also means it’s time to change our skin care routine and find ways to help our skin retain moisture.

With only two ingredients this DIY Coconut Oil Sugar Scrub is perfect.  It not only exfoliates, but leaves your skin silky smooth as well.  It can be used as a body scrub, for the face, or is great to smooth and moisturize your hands this Winter! The ratio to make the scrub is 2 Parts Sugar to 1 Part Coconut Oil. To make the scrub any scent of your choice, simply mix in 10 drops of an essential oil!

Homemade Coconut Oil Sugar Scrub

  • 1 Cup Raw Brown Sugar {or any course sugar}
  • 1/2 Cup Nutiva Coconut Oil

Mix two ingredients together, add essential oils if you prefer.

Store in airtight container.

{I use empty glass moisturizer jars.}

Mason Jars are perfect as well, and a great DIY Gift Idea for the upcoming Holidays!
