Aloha Friday.

Happy Friday! As some of you may know my family and I made a big move this past month. Well, we are still currently in the middle of said “Big Move”. My husband made a career change and we now reside on the beautiful “Garden Isle” of Kauai. It was a huge move for our family but I am very excited to be in a warm climate again and I love it here. They say island life either sucks you in or spits you out.  I am definitely being sucked in and don’t ever want to leave. The people that reside here are extremely friendly and embrace the “Aloha” spirit whole heartedly.  Aside from the beauty of the Gili Islands, I am not sure that I have seen anything else that even remotely compares to its beauty.

I will be adding a Kauai section to Mom. Fashion. Lifestyle. so be on the look out!

Some things you may not know about Kauai:

1.) The wettest place on Earth is on Kauai, {because of this I am welcomed with a rainbow almost every day!}

2.) There are no snakes on the island.

3.) Moving your dogs here with cost you more than a couple thousand dollars.

4.) There are no Sea Gulls.

5.) Under current law no building can be taller than the tallest palm tree on the lot {large companies tend to plant VERY large palm trees and then build 😉

6.) Kauai is the oldest of the Hawaiian islands

7.) Wild Chickens are EVERYWHERE…. {and yes I mean everywhere! Our house came with more than I can count!}

If you have come across this post, and are curious about whether or not Kauai is for you feel free to email me or comment below!
